Children are a gift to oneself. They are your discipline, your mirror, your consciousness and conscience. They are your entertainers who regularly make you sit in the theater of life and laugh until you cry, or cry until you break down and change. They are your window to the world and what is currently in vogue, and your reminder that very little really changes in the span of one lifetime.
They are the companions able to convince you that you want some ice cream, and the adversaries who remind you of your ethics. They bring extraordinary gifts of patience and humility. They are powerful teachers of love and truth. They are wickedly funny at times, coax you to keep up, and provide endless surprises as they slowly reveal themselves.
Regardless of your formal career, children certify you as doctor, banker, loan officer, police officer, judge, jury, housekeeper, teacher, cab driver, psychologist, social worker, laundress, and all-around general magician. Children are your friends along the way and they map the path to unconditional love.
You will know you have done a good job when it becomes clear that they are learning everything they just taught you because their children are teaching them - for first we teach and then we learn. Children are a gift of life to the world. But mostly they are a gift to oneself.
]]>We can’t really make good choices on what to use, what to hold, or what to invest in until we understand the key differences among them and take appropriate action. Perhaps the biggest difference among them is that, so far, only gold is a store of value, meaning that it is valuable in its own right. It can be turned into jewelry, a vase, a sculpture, used in technology, in medicine, turned into coins and used to buy things, or shaped into bullion and stuffed into a safe to be kept for future needs during downturns in an economy.
The more available something is, the more its value goes down. Technically, dollars, cryptos, and possibly pink pebbles act as units of account. This means they act as measuring sticks. By deciding what something is worth, we use forms of money to help us measure the value of something - a dozen eggs, a car, or maybe a haircut. Dollars, cryptos, and pink pebbles are not a store of value. Why? Because they are almost unlimited. True, cryptos have been set up with built-in limits, but it is easy to see that we are already creating ways around those limits by creating hard forks or breaking them into ever smaller units.
There is a lot of talk about Bitcoin as a store of value – but is it? Can it ever be? In this reality system, we can do whatever we want, decide whatever we want, and so it is possible that Bitcoin could be arbitrarily designated as a store of value in the same way that we have decided gold is a store of value. Going in the opposite direction, we could also treat Bitcoin and other cryptos as commodities - something to be purchased, to be owned, or as something we use to purchase goods and services with, in which case it becomes a measuring stick that determines the value of something. All of this is speculation, however, if we don’t get an infrastructure going. If we can't USE it easily, it’s going to collapse or become meaningless and all those millions and billions of dollars people spent on them are going to settle down forever in the pockets of the big banks, which is where the cash goes when you buy coins.
Is this "lack of infrastructure" problem something to worry about? Maybe. Factors in play are: 1. The elite/bank efforts to create a cashless society in which they control the network infrastructure AND the electrical switch that powers the whole thing, and 2. The fact that we are becoming more abstract and less dependent on physical goods as we move toward becoming a space-based civilization that does not really NEED a planet because we have evolved to the point of being able to manipulate frequencies well enough to produce whatever is needed out of what used to be thought of as 'thin air.'
Regarding Factor 1, there has been plenty of evidence that we are being guided/pushed toward a cashless society. Is this what we want? Is this going to work well for us if we are not the ones managing the network or controlling the energy switch? In spite of a lack of infrastructure, if the elites/banks want a cashless society, they will do everything in their power to make sure the cryptocurrencies work. So maybe we shouldn't worry too much about whether or not cryptos are going to last or go anywhere.
Regarding Factor 2, if you step back a bit and view the big picture, whether to buy cryptos or not forces us to ask ourselves, "Where are we going?" The answer to that question is that we are moving slowly but steadily toward becoming a space-based civilization. When a population reaches the point that they begin to rely on things that are not physical, or have not been dug up, heated down, and formed into something the masses need, those people have taken the first steps along the road that leads to being able to rely on the use of the frequencies everywhere around us in space. This frees us from being tethered to a planet!
When we can produce water, nutrient-dense foods, energy, healing, education, and intelligent materials by generating the frequencies that underlie and then manifest physical items, we are no longer a primitive race beating our war chests and pretending that we are alone and are the central, most powerful beings in the universe.
Since we can already produce ALL of the things mentioned above – water, foods, energy, healing, education, and intelligent materials – it is only a matter of time before the goal of joining with other civilizations in space becomes realized. Thus, the choice of whether or not to buy and use cryptos is really a vote to move into the future and across the galaxy.
]]>"...Barry Sanders was a little guy, only 5’8”, but he was fast, he was light on his feet, he was alert, and he was supremely flexible. It didn’t matter that the forces arrayed against him were huge, heavy, and coming from every direction, all of them ready to pile on. Each of us is a little guy compared to the forces we now face. I think it’s time to decide if you’re going to be around long enough to help build a new civilization.
]]>Said Nate Sr., “Sometimes it didn’t matter whether they won or lost, you watched the game just to watch Barry Sanders and see what he was going to do.”
Since I’ve never been into sports, I asked what made Barry Sanders special.
That question led to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7cxZ1u9RMxk (37 seconds)
And this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PBhn1wMyzV4 (10 mins.)
I had goosebumps watching those two videos. Like I said, I’ve never been into sports at all, but I recognize excellence when I see it, and I appreciate those who have something special and use it whether they’re winning or losing. Winning probably mattered a lot to Lions’ players, their fans, the coaches, those making bets, and anyone else who loves sports, but like Nate said, sometimes we can watch the game just to enjoy the moments of excellence.
We are in a Barry Sanders moment in this country. Are we headed for a civil war? A financial crash? Is there going to be a food shortage? What will happen with the election? Is the U.S. going to break up? We have the ball and there are pressures bearing down on us. We could be tackled from any direction by any number of forces intent on preventing us from winning. But I think we have to do what Barry did: dodge, twist, turn, leap, change directions as needed, look for the hole in the forces arrayed against us, and run like hell toward the goal.
Barry Sanders was a little guy, only 5’8”, but he was fast, he was light on his feet, he was alert, and he was supremely flexible. It didn’t matter that the forces arrayed against him were huge, heavy, and coming from every direction, all of them ready to pile on.
Each of us is a little guy compared to the forces we now face. I think it’s time to decide if you’re going to be around long enough to help build a new civilization. If you have any doubts about your abilities, go back and look at that first video link in which it appears Sanders is being tackled by linemen coming from all sides…then suddenly, there he is taking a step back, watching as they all crash into one another, while he remains unconcerned because he’s watching for the opening, sees it, and leaves them all on the ground behind him. Like an aikido expert, Sanders uses their own forward motion to stop them while he deftly pauses and waits for the perfect moment to continue his run toward a touchdown.
Do not get caught in your own forward motion pushed by biases, agendas, self-righteous outrage, demands for your version of fairness, or whatever else pushes your buttons. The journey is about navigating wisely, so be light on your feet, alert, flexible, and quick to change as needed! Above all, never think for a moment that you’re too small to succeed. The goal is a world that works well and smoothly, fosters personal growth, and allows for a little laughter, song, and dance along the way.

]]>Oct. 23, 2018
Nov. 1-2, 2018
Nov. 14, 2018
Watching what is happening in our country this past year has, for the first time in my life, brought home the incredible meaning of the words “rule of law” and the amount of power that can be available to a population when everyone subscribes to an agreed-upon form of governance. I’ve learned more in the last year about how our governance structure works and why it is so magnificent than I learned in all the previous years combined.
In spite of the magnificence of our system, we have a lot of drama going on. Some people cry and beat their breast over Trump, but Trump is not where we should be putting our attention. Others demand that Hillary be brought to justice for her many crimes, but focusing on Hillary may be more of a desire for vengeance than justice. Still others insist that those involved in pedophilia, sex trafficking, child sacrifice, be arrested, brought to trial and shame, then imprisoned, hung, or shot – and maybe they will be – but sordid activities like these are only distractions. The biggest issue unfolding in front of our eyes is the demand being placed on a 250-year-old system that has inspired the entire world and whether or not that system is worth keeping.
Is it?
We have been so mindlessly secure for such a long time that we’ve forgotten how awful it can be to try to get water if it’s not coming out of the kitchen faucet. We don't know what it's like to go out and scrounge for food when soldiers bent on winning a war will shoot anything that moves. We have forgotten what it is like to have to sit up all night watching over our house, our vehicle, or our chickens because marauding individuals with no interest in the rule of law are roaming about freely. We have forgotten what it is like to have no police to run to when someone does something that is not fair or against the law. We no longer have the capacity to heal ourselves if the local hospital has been bombed or is closed because doctors and nurses are unwilling to risk driving there anymore. We have long forgotten what it is like to grow up illiterate because there are no schools, we have little sense of responsibility for feeding ourselves, and nothing but helplessness when it comes to maintaining our health. We are victims drowning in circumstances beyond our control. How did we arrive at this victimhood?
The move from self-sufficiency to victimhood is a shift in consciousness. It is not a shift one would want to brag about, nor does such a shift happen all at once. Often it starts with lure of an ‘easier way,’ because we all know that life is hard work. Then we add the idea of getting ahead. Then there comes the moment when we have to decide something... but someone or some organization or institution offers to decide for us and says, “We will do this if you will just do that.” It looks like such an easy choice. So we take it, never realizing that another tiny sliver of our power and authority has been siphoned away.
An example: “Here! Come to our city and work in our business and we’ll pay you some money. We’ll even make sure some local farmer hauls food into the city so you can be fed without a hassle. Just give the farmer some of your money for the food and everything will work just fine!” So you take a job and never notice that it requires you to do what someone else wants, not what you want. There goes your satisfaction and joy. You fall for the money and fail to notice that your connection to nature is slowly fading, your survival skills are dwindling, and you are aging three times faster than your parents did. You fall for the idea of progress and keeping up with the Joneses, never noticing that cooperation has slipped away, replaced by competition, which becomes an unquestioned way of life. You raise your children, and they think this is the way it has always been. You work longer, harder, tell yourself it’s worth it. Soon, the money carrot and all the other artificial systems put in place to get more money from you have sucked your soul dry.
Now you’re facing death. You tell yourself 'everyone dies…so what!' Then you die. You’re gone from family, friends, and home, still conscious, but without a physical body, looking back on your life and trying to forgive yourself for having wasted the entire life trying to get ahead instead of developing the consciousness needed to become a man or woman of power. This reality system looks so big, so all-there-is when you’re in it, but once you’re out of it, it is so small that you feel like a parochial idiot for never having expanded your consciousness.
What might you have done if you expanded that consciousness? You might have been able to remember other lives when you lived through chaos brought by Mother Nature, foreign soldiers, or the lack of a stable system of governance that held everyone day after day. You might have used those memories to make better choices. You might have recalled being one of those soldiers who pillaged, raped, and murdered with abandon until one day one of your victims refused to run, refused to look away, refused to react with fear and consciously met you and your intent in a way that shook you to your soul. You might have stepped up in your family or community and said, without shame or blame, “Let’s talk about what we can do…” to work together, to figure something out, to bring someone back into the group, to respond in a way that makes sense AND makes a future. Once you're dead, you suddenly see and feel the thousand and one things you could have done differently.
Everywhere I turn I hear people talking about “ascension” as if they know what they’re talking about and as if they’re almost there! I beg to differ. For years our entire population has been spoon-fed with hundreds of suggestions to ignore action and focus on mucking around in the psychology of why things happen. Once we became acclimated to the idea of forsaking action in favor of trying to figure out the reasons for some situation, The Powers That Be began to feed us perspectives and faux-psychology that would appear to explain the situation in such a way that no action was required. Soon, all we could do was speculate and argue about motives and personality. Meanwhile, whatever action was going on was allowed to proceed uninterrupted and unheeded.
That’s where we are today. We are ashamed of our anger and ‘unresolved’ issues. Thus, we fail to realize that the raw emotional power of anger is meant to be married to our passion in order to make change happen in this world. We are so busy trying to pretend we don’t have any anger that we walk around with a simpering smile on our face, call it ‘spirituality,’ and think fine thoughts…but never take action. We are so embarrassed by our childhoods – with their supposed lack of support or nurture – that we cannot recognize that our lesson was to learn to support and nurture ourselves, not in a selfish or thoughtless way, but in a way that forces us to know thyself.
We are so hampered by decades of fake psychology and being told what to think, what to see, and how to rationalize it, we can no longer see what’s going on at all. We prefer pretty platitudes and smooth-talking political salesmen who make a million promises and NEVER do what they promise. How do we handle the frustration of this con job? We take it out on one another.
When a government lies to its people, people know it deep in their core and take permission from those lies to lie to themselves and one another. When a government denies that it is responsible for something that it clearly is responsible for, the message people take from it is that it’s okay to deny responsibility. The problem is that when we deny responsibility, we give up power. What is power? It is the ability to decide and do. We must take responsibility if we want power and the freedom to act on our own behalf.
We may be evolving beyond our particular system of democracy, but we will never outgrow the need for the principles it is teaching us…freedom, honor, fairness, order, community, and personal responsibility. The next stage of human development is to incorporate those principles into the deepest heart of our being, understand the power of the collective, develop our personal power, and move forward into personal responsibility. Only then will we be able to step into the galactic community. Are we ready for that?
People say we are making America great again. That's good. But I think we are preparing to move into a completely new world, one that we have never allowed ourselves to imagine, mostly because we didn’t think it was possible. It is possible, and it’s time we started preparing. Think about it…and Happy Thanksgiving!
]]>Goddammit, people, WAKE UP! These aren’t just miscellaneous shootings. They are an organized plan to get us to gut the last remaining article of our Constitution!! When are we going to wake up?? Do you have any idea what is really going on behind the façade of civility presented to us by mainstream news? There’s a war going on and it’s time we realized we are losing. It’s too bad that people have died, but that’s what happens in a war. Don’t make it worse by pretending nothing serious is going on, thereby sacrificing the whole country and the few shreds of freedom we have left.
]]>We drove up a mountain or very tall hill to the place where I was going to stay, a very nice retreat and teaching center. Once in my room, I started unpacking and getting settled. I happened to look out the window to the south and noticed a lake down the mountain. I was surprised because I hadn’t seen it when driving up the mountain.
I continued to unpack and, a few minutes, later happened to glance out the window toward the lake. There were big waves with whitecaps on the water. I had the thought that the wind must be blowing quite hard for there to be 2-3 ft. whitecaps on the lake. As I watched, the waves began to splash out of the lake and across the landscape, slowly flooding neighborhoods and streets.
In dismay, I looked out the window to the west. Again I was surprised, for I could see the Pacific Ocean in the distance and hadn’t realized we were that close to the ocean. There were big waves on the ocean as well and they quickly became huge, towering black waves that were 50 ft. and then 100 ft. high and that came crashing onto the land.
In shock, I looked back toward the window to the south and saw that the water from the lake was now coming up the mountain. I froze. I had the thought, “I need to get out of here…I should never have gone traveling at a time like this. Here I am in an unfamiliar place, no car, no knowledge of the back roads by which I could escape…I need to get out of here!”
As my situation sunk in, I began to panic. I ran outside and down the driveway, thinking I would run back down the road by which we had driven up the mountain, but the water had already flooded the road and was 6 ft. or more deep.
Worse, the Pacific Ocean had moved inland and was now only about 50 ft. away from the retreat center. Cars, trucks, buses, and boats, were caught in the water, some were driving on the water and some were driving underwater. Buses were bobbing along as if they were boats, there were people on bicycles racing through the water, people were running, swimming, everyone trying to get to higher ground. I realized it was too late and we were doomed. I woke in full panic.
A few days later, I received an email from a woman I know and have worked with in the past on some very intense projects requiring a powerful and focused consciousness. She had a dream about the same time I did.
This was her dream…
I was in a short hallway that intersected another hallway perpendicularly, with glass walls and glass doors. Some other young women also sat evenly spaced along the walls of the hallways, on the floor. I think I was the only one in my little section of the hallway (the short "stem" of the T shape) that branched off from the main hallway (the "crossbar" of the T). Behind me was a set of glass doors. We were all wrapped in quilts, sitting cross-legged or huddled with knees pulled up. We seemed to be waiting. The glass walls and doors were like those in a laboratory or hospital.
I sat with my knees pulled up, arms around knees with my quilt up around my ears.
A crash of smashing glass next to me caused me to whip my head to the right. I caught a glimpse – in perfect focus – of a long white tube hurtling up the hallway through the broken glass in the door. It was maybe 2 -3 feet long, shiny surface, dark blue nose on the front end. In that instant I thought someone had thrown a rolled-up window shade through the glass door.
It boomed into the wall with a deafening metallic crash. I saw the girls in front of me looking all around, wondering what had happened. A moment later I was stunned to see the girl in front of me slump over dead. Someone shouted, "Here comes the shock wave!" I realized it was a bomb.
Because I was in the other part of the hallway, and my ears were already covered by my quilt, I was not killed by the shock wave.
Quickly I put my head between my knees, covered my whole head with the quilt, and began telling my brain and body "You can survive this. Stay strong and cohesive. Remain organized and coherent. Keep the life force flowing. You can survive." I felt my brain struggle against weird waves.
Next thing I knew, I was lying on a hospital table. I began to tell the doctor what the bomb looked like, and he was astonished to see that I was alive. That surprised me, as I didn’t notice any pain, so I figured I must have been injured. ================== AWOKE
When I awoke, my actual brain and body felt peppery and hot and short-circuiting. It felt grainy and itchy. I realized that my body was responding to the dream as if it had happened. I began talking to my brain and body in earnest, saying "This did not happen in this dimension. It happened in a dream, not in physical reality. Shrug off that holographic programming. Fill up with health and love. Be strong and coherent." I've struggled with feeling depressed and irritable over the two days since.
When we analyze these two dreams, we find they are saying the same thing.
In the first dream, water is the universal symbol of emotion, and the towering waves on the Pacific Ocean – pacific means peaceful – indicate that huge emotions have been stirred up that severely disturb the peace. Waves also carry information and this suggests that some information causes huge emotions that cannot be ignored or navigated. The color black of the waves indicates deep, murderous anger, and the flooding that reaches almost to the top of the mountain indicates that almost everything is affected by this. The people trying to get to higher ground symbolize the effort to exonerate the self from any blame, and to examine consciousness to see how they played into the situation, as well as people trying to figure out what has to be different to get above and beyond the repeat of such a situation in the future.
In the second dream, the girls (immature women) with the quilts wrapped around them (quilts are coverings used when sleeping, as in ‘not awake’) are sitting in a T-shaped hallway (a T indicates an intersection in which the road/hall ends and one must turn either left or right) made of glass walls and doors (glass indicates transparency) when a shiny, white tube with a dark blue nose and resembling a rolled up window shade comes crashing through the glass door. The white tube is suggestive of both something sexual as well as of the white mailing tubes used to send large documents containing specialized information through the mail. The dark blue nose indicates that someone knows (nose) something dark that causes the blues (depressing information). Blue is also a color used to indicate non-traditional sexual attitudes and practices. The rolled-up window shade says that something shady has been rolled up, or that everyone can now see through the window at what was hidden previously.
The bomb indicates something that can blow things apart, and the shock wave says that there will be something shocking enough to kill people (the girls wrapped in quilts begin to die). The fact that the woman having the dream begins to struggle with her brain says that she may have difficulty getting her mind around what is happening. Once she is awake, she tries to tell herself that something is not real and could not have happened in this reality. Her body, however, is telling her that something real has happened and has affected her deeply.
These two dreams provide a warning that something disturbing is coming toward us, is fairly close now, and is going to trigger huge emotions that completely engulf us. Some people may be so adversely affected that they may die, and at the very least something is going to disrupt a lot of lives. I am concerned for us and hope that those of you who have even an ounce of consciousness development will help those around you to navigate and process whatever is happening, without abandoning your own emotions.
]]>How long will it be before we recognize that there are new technologies, hidden weapons, secret techniques for splitting consciousness and programming part of it to do what the original wholeness would never have done. How many Trade Center disasters, Colorado theater shootings, Navy yard shootings, Sandy Hook hoaxes, Pulse nightclub murders, or Las Vegas assassinations do we have to have before we wake up and see what is going on? How many trillions of our dollars have to disappear into the black hole of black budgets before we realize that roads, bridges, water systems, electrical grids, and infrastructure are crumbling because the money is being spent to pay off those who have been complicit in the war that is slowly taking the U.S. down. If you think that's not true, look at this as just one example...
I have clients and friends in many places around the world. They are angry with the U.S. Why? Because we were an icon of freedom, hope, and personal potential. We inspired them. Now they ask me, “What is wrong with the American people??!! Why are they letting this happen to them and their country?” I do not know what to say. Others can see it. Why can't we?
We are caught between two warring factions struggling for power and willing to kill the innocent and uninvolved. They are doing it on our backs, and we are paying them to do it. I don’t know how long it will take to wake people up, but at this rate more are going to die. What do we need to do?
It is much too soon for this prescription because too many are still playing naïve, still caught in red vs. blue, Trump vs. Hillary, left vs. right and other meaningless either-or arguments, refusing to wake up and grow up, but I’m going to say it anyway. Our democracy is not working. It might even be dead. We need to…
Is that future guaranteed to look familiar? No. Is it guaranteed to work the way we imagine? No. Can we set up something that allows and nurtures our evolution to a more expansive consciousness? That remains to be seen. Can we keep going as we are? No. We will devolve further, disintegrate into civil wars all over the place, and end up being taken over by who knows what. It is time to wake up. It is time to step into political and spiritual maturity before the spirit and structure of the U.S. is lost forever.
